## Where companies overpay
- **A unit price nobody re-quoted**: The price was set years ago. Raw materials, the dollar and the supplier’s competitors have all moved since. Your price has not.
- **Freight booked at the last minute**: One forwarder, that week’s rate, no alternatives checked. The difference only shows up on the invoice.
